Two hundred, forty-six days after Ryan's transplant, and nearly a year since his last swim, he was finally able to jump into a pool & swim again. He had his Hickman Catheter removed 10 days ago, making this the first time in 4.5 years that he doesn't have any kind of central line implanted in him for long-term i.v. access. He had to wait 10 days post-surgery for his small surgical wound to heal. We are so happy to for him!! He was so excited and enjoyed every minute. Thanks to Monica, John and Noah for the mini party.
