the pictures in this album were all taken during the course of my field trip to the kuparuk oil field. this field trip was free and hosted by conocophillips, in conjunction with the 2006 cordilleran section gsa meeting. this field trip took place on saturday, may 6, 2006. it was reportedly 7 degrees farenheit when we stopped for lunch at olitok point, overlooking the frozen artic ocean. this was a phenomenally exciting trip. this album is also a work in progress.
